Ukrainian Prime Minister to Visit Estonia

On Tuesday, 5 October, Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov will arrive in Estonia for a visit.

During his visit the Ukrainian prime minister is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Andrus Ansip and Chairman of the Riigikogu Ene Ergma. The Ukrainian minister also has plans to meet with representatives of the Estonian Employers Confederation and visit the ICT Demo Centre.

Topics of discussion will be Estonia-Ukraine bilateral relations and opportunities to share Estonia’s reform experiences and future co-operation. Matters related to the European Union, including Eastern Partnership, will also be discussed.

The Estonian and Ukrainian prime ministers will give a joint press conference in Stenbock House at 19.00 on 5 October. Prior to the prime ministers’ press conference, the ministers of social affairs will sign a social security agreement between Estonia and Ukraine.


Attention journalists!

Journalists, photographers and camera operators interested in covering the visit should be accredited no later that Monday, 4 October at 15.00 at the address http://ankeet.vm.ee/eng/visit_of_ukraine. Accreditation will only take place electronically.
Press cards can be obtained from the entrance to the Foreign Ministry's B-annex at Lauteri 2 starting at 16.00 on 4 October. The entrance is open from 8.00-18.00.
