Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Express Condolences to Japan

Prime Minister Andrus Ansip and Foreign Minister Urmas Paet expressed their condolences to Japan over the severe earthquake and subsequent destructive tsunamis that struck the north-eastern part of the country.
“In the name of the Estonian government and people, we express our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed or injured, as well as to all the people of Japan,” said the prime minister and foreign minister in their letter of condolences. The foreign minister also confirmed that Estonia is prepared to offer any assistance that is deemed necessary to help alleviate the effects of the disaster.
