Belgian Prime Minister Yves Leterme to Visit Estonia

Belgian Prime Minister Yves Leterme will be in Estonia for a working visit from 18-19 April.

He has meetings scheduled with President of the Republic Toomas Hendrik Ilves and Prime Minister Andrus Ansip.

Topics to be discussed at the meetings are bilateral relations and Estonia’s e-solutions, including its e-government. Other topics that will be addressed are European Union economic and finance issues, energy, and the digital internal market. Cyber security and developments in Northern Africa will also be addressed.

During his visit, Prime Minister Leterme will visit the ICT Demo Centre and become acquainted with the work of the NATO Cyber Defence Centre. He will also take a tour of Tallinn’s Old Town.

Attention journalists interested in covering the visit!

Journalists, photographers and camera operators interested in covering the visit should be accredited no later than Friday, 15 April at 14.00. Accreditation can be done electronically at the address http://ankeet.vm.ee/eng/visit_of_belgium

Press cards will be available as of 15.00 on 15 April from the desk at the guest entrance of the Foreign Ministry at Lauteri 2.
