Estonia Established Diplomatic Ties with Sierra Leone

Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Paet and Foreign Minister of Sierra Leone Joseph B. Dauda signed an agreement establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries. Paet also proposed that Estonia would appoint its honorary consul in Sierra Leone.

The two foreign ministers also spoke about co-operation in the United Nations and supporting each other's candidacies.

Sierra Leone is located in West Africa and has a population of 5.2 million. In all Estonia has diplomatic relations with 170 countries.
