Meeting of the foreign ministers of the Benelux countries and the Baltic States at Pädaste manor


On 9 and 10 September at Pädaste manor on the island of Muhu, there will be a meeting between Estonia Minister of Foreign Affairs Urmas Paet, Latvian Foreign Minister Ģirts Valdis Kristovskis, Lithuanian Deputy Foreign Minister Egidijus Meilūnas, Belgian Foreign Minister Steven Vanackere, Dutch Foreign Minister Uri Rosenthal and Luxembourg’s Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn.

The objective of the meeting is to discuss salient foreign policy matters and international developments. The Benelux and Baltic foreign ministers will discuss the latest developments in the Middle East and North Africa. They will also discuss matters relating to European Union enlargement and Eastern Partnership. Also on the agenda: relations with Russia, the situations in Afghanistan and Europe's foreign service.
