Irish Minister for European Affairs to Visit Estonia

Ireland's Minister of State for European Affairs Lucinda Creighton will be in Estonia for a visit from 30-31 October. She has a meeting scheduled with Foreign Minister Urmas Paet.

Topics to be discussed at their meeting are Ireland's presidency of the European Union in 2013, euro zone issues, the EU's next financial framework, and further enlargement of the EU. Also to be discussed are relations between Estonia and Ireland and matters related to the OSCE. Ireland is currently the chairman of the OSCE.

Creighton will also meet with Prime Minister Andrus Ansip and representatives of the British-Estonian Chamber of Commerce.

On Wednesday, 31 October at 14.00 Foreign Minister Urmas Paet and Irish Minister of State for European Affairs Lucinda Creighton will give a joint press conference in the Foreign Ministry.
