Romanian Foreign Minister to Visit Estonia

On Friday, 31 May, Foreign Minister Urmas Paet meet with Romanian Foreign Minister Titus Corlăţean, who will be in Estonia for a visit.

The ministers will discuss Estonia-Romania relations, including political and economic co-operation. Of matters related to the European Union, the ministers will discuss the future of the union, enlargement, economic issues, and the enlargement of the Schengen space. They will also talk about relations with both countries’ neighbourhoods, the Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region, and security matters.

The Romanian foreign minister also has a meeting scheduled with President Toomas Hendrik Ilves and chairman of the Riigikogu foreign affairs committee Marko Mihkelson.

On Friday, 31 May at 12.00 Foreign Minister Urmas Paet and Romanian Foreign Minister Titus Corlăţean will give a joint press conference in the Foreign Ministry.
