Estonia Condemns the Violence in Egypt



Foreign Minister Urmas Paet condemned the use of violence against demonstrators in the breakup of protest camps in Egypt and called on refraining from future violence. “It is important to avoid the further spread of violence, which could bring about a civil war,” remarked Paet. “Conflicting sides in Egypt must make efforts to solve their political differences peacefully. For this, it is important to begin talks between political forces as quickly as possible,” added the Estonian foreign minister.
