Foreign Minister Urmas Paet Expressed Condolences to Russian Foreign Minister Regarding Volgograd Terrorist Attack


Foreign Minister Urmas Paet expressed his condolences to the Russian Federation’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov regarding the terrorist attack that took place in Volgograd’s train station, where an explosion set off by a terrorist suicide bomber killed 18 and injured 40 people.

“I express my condolences to those who were close to the victims of the explosion and to everyone who was affected by the terrorist attack,” said Foreign Minister Urmas Paet in his letter. “Estonia condemns terrorism. Orchestrating explosions and killing and injuring people are brutal crimes,” he added.
