Foreign Minister Urmas Paet will travel to Ukraine tomorrow

On February 25, Foreign Minister Urmas Paet will be visiting Kyiv Ukraine.

In Kyiv, foreign minister Paet has meetings scheduled with the speaker of the Ukrainian parliament, interim President Oleksandr Turchynov, as well as with other state and political leaders.

The Estonian Minister of Foreign Affairs will also place a wreath at the memorial site of those killed in the Ukrainian unrest.

"We are celebrating Estonia's Independence Day today, and I sincerely hope that Estonia's developments in the last few decades also serve to support Ukraine. They are proof that fundamental changes for the creation of a free society are possible," Paet said. "Support from abroad is also very important for Ukraine on this path," he added.
