Foreign Minister Urmas Paet will discuss the situation in Ukraine with the Council of Ministers


Tomorrow on May 6, Foreign Minister Urmas Paet will attend a Council of Europe ministerial meeting in Vienna to discuss the situation and developments in Ukraine. Austria is currently chairman of the Council of Europe.

“We consider an urgent Council of Europe legal and legislative aid project for Ukraine to be essential,” Paet noted.

Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thorbjørn Jagland will introduce his report “State of Democracy, Human Rights and the Rule of Law in Europe” at the meeting in Vienna.
