Foreign Minister Paet Expressed Condolences Regarding Explosion in Domodedovo Airport

Foreign Minister Urmas Paet expressed his condolences to Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergei Lavrov regarding the explosion that took place this afternoon in Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport that claimed many lives.

“I send my condolences to the families and loved ones of all those lost and injured in the airport, and to the entire Russian people,” said Foreign Minister Paet. “There is never any justification for planning an explosion and killing innocent people. The investigation must uncover who is responsible for this tragic explosion,” he stated.
