Minister for European Integration of Kosovo Vlora Citaku to Visit Estonia

From 30-31 May, Minister for European Integration of the Republic of Kosovo Vlora Citaku will be in Estonia for an official visit. This is the minister’s first visit to Estonia.

During her visit, Minister for European Integration of Kosovo Vlora Citaku will meet with Foreign Minister Urmas Paet. The goal of the European integration minister’s visit is to become acquainted with Estonia’s experiences in becoming integrated with the European Union. Other topics to be addressed are Estonia-Kosovo bilateral relations, issues related to European Union enlargement, Kosovo’s relations with Serbia, and the situation in the Western Balkans.

Citaku also has meetings scheduled with Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for European Union Affairs Kaja Tael, Deputy Director for European Union Affairs of the State Chancellery Klen Jäärats, head of the Representation of the European Commission Paavo Palk, and Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior Erkki Koort.

Foreign Minister Urmas Paet and Minister for European Integration of Kosovo Vlora Citaku will give a joint press conference in the Foreign Ministry press centre at 13.30 on Monday, 30 May.
