Accreditation for State Visit of President of Hungary to Estonia

President of the Republic of Hungary János Áder will be on a state visit to Estonia from 20-22 June. He has meetings scheduled with President of the Republic Toomas Hendrik Ilves, Speaker of the Riigikogu Ene Ergma, and Prime Minister Andrus Ansip.

Topics to be discussed at the meetings are Estonia-Hungary bilateral relations, the future of the European Union, developments in the digital single market and the euro zone, security policy, and Finno-Ugric relations. EU Eastern Partnership and relations with the Eastern Partners and Russia will also be discussed.

The Hungarian president will also visit Tartu University and the Hungarian Institute in Estonia. In addition, he will lay a wreath at the base of the Monument to the War of Independence.

Press cards for those accredited will be available at the desk at the Foreign Ministry’s guest entrance at Lauteri 2 starting at 15.00 on 19 June. The entrance is open from 8.00-18.00.
