Foreign Minister Keit Pentus-Rosimannus will participate in a meeting of the foreign ministers of the Nordic, Baltic and Visegrad countries in Slovakia

Foreign Minister Keit Pentus-Rosimannus will participate in a meeting of the foreign ministers of the Visegrad countries (Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary) and of the Nordic and Baltic countries (Estonia, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark) which is being held for the third time. The meeting will take place on March 12-13 in the High Tatras mountains in Slovakia.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss topical issues of foreign policy and international developments. Other topics to be discussed include energy security, the European Union's Eastern Partnership and issues related to terrorism and Ukraine. Foreign Minister Pentus-Rosimannus will speak during the part of the meeting dealing with Eastern Partnership.

The last Visegrad and Nordic-Baltic Foreign Ministers' meeting was held in March of 2014 in Narva.

Tomorrow, on March 13, Foreign Minister Keit Pentus-Rosimannus will also meet with the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Miroslav Lajčák.
