Foreign Minister Sven Mikser offers condolences following the attack in Stockholm


Foreign Minister Sven Mikser offered condolences following the attack in central Stockholm during which at least three people were killed.

“My condolences to the families and friends of those who lost their lives. I wish a speedy recovery to those who were injured,” Mikser said. “Our thoughts are with the loved ones of the victims, the injured and the people of Sweden at this sad time.“

Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not received information from the Swedish authorities regarding any Estonians injured in this attack.

We recommend all Estonians in Stockholm to avoid the scene of the incident and follow instructions of local authorities. We also ask Estonians in Stockholm to notify their loved ones if they are safe.
